Live Entertainment

  • Vocalist to sing at your Wedding Ceremony accompanied by musician or backing tracks.
  • Exceptional acoustic soloists playing guitar or keyboard, create a pleasant ambience for your Ceremony, Canapes or Reception.
  • Duo vocalists accompanied by guitar, keyboard, cello or a combination of these, providing a great harmonious sound.
  • Three-piece entertainers (Trio) add an additional dimension to the sound. With three professionals producting music you can imagine how the sound fills out.

Solo Instrumentalist

  • Classical guitarist, Jazz guitarist for easy-listening background music

String Ensemble

Wedding DJ

  • A DJ is a popular choice by Wedding couples as they provide a very large variety of music, from easy-listening selections during dinner to upbeat / party songs on the dance floor. Your choice of song selection or you can allow the DJ to select the most appropriate music for you and your guests. Our DJ’s are also are happy to take requests from your guests should you permit this.

Master of Ceremonies (MC)

  • An MC plays a vital role in ensuring your wedding reception flows seamlessly from start to finish. Acting as the event’s host, our professional MCs work closely with venue management and staff, expertly coordinating formalities, catering services, entertainment, photography and speeches. With their warm presence and attention to detail, they keep everything running smoothly and on schedule—allowing you and your guests to relax, enjoy the celebration, and create lasting memories.

Wedding Band

  • A Wedding band is great for that full live entertainment sound that you may be looking for. Generally, a 4–5-piece band comprise vocals, guitars and drums. A band is not only restricted to these instruments as some bands incorporate keyboard, saxophone or other popular instruments.

    NOTE: It is important to check with the venue re available space for a band based on your proposed numbers and final floor plan.

Sound Production

All performers and DJ’s have their own production equipment including PA system and basic lighting.  DJ’s also have a wireless microphone available for speeches. We also have equipment that can be used for the ceremony should power not be available.

Packages

Our recommendation for a successful wedding reception is having an MC and DJ working as a team. Macarthur Weddings can provide a package to suit.

The package includes 5 hours of DJ entertainment as well as an MC for the entire night. This provides consistency, knowing that all professionals have been briefed accordingly and work well with each other, providing professional service for your wedding reception.
